Jimmy has over 30 years of accounting experience with national and local firms. With a broad-based business background, his focus is on taxes: IRS tax resolution, personal income tax preparation, and taxation of companies with multi-state or foreign activities.  Jimmy also specializes in taxation of trusts and estates, for high-net-worth individuals.

Previously, he was tax director for a publicly traded marine transportation company in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, where he focused on multi-state and international tax issues. Jimmy’s friendly, welcoming demeanor has benefited clients and members of our team for many years. He joined our firm in 2015 since we have grown to the point that tax planning and compliance have become an essential service that we offer.

Jimmy was born in Nicaragua, grew up in New Orleans, but currently calls South Central Boca Raton, Florida home. He lives with his wife and their two beautiful children who are now in high school and middle school.  In his spare time, you can probably find Jimmy playing fantasy football, enjoying sports, and traveling. Jimmy graduated from Tulane University with Degrees in Accounting and Finance.

Fun fact: Jimmy spent two summers aboard oil rigs in the Gulf of Mexico, working with his dad and Grandfather as an offshore roughneck and welder!
