Katherine comes to Gruber and Associates, having worked in private industry as a staff accountant, handling all aspects of the financial process. Similarly, to other members of our team, she worked through the ranks starting in the payroll department. Her experience closely matches our client’s accounting needs so she is a natural fit in our firm.
Katherine was born in Peru, and our firm now boasts four Peruvian Millennials. Her family came to Florida in 2000, including her older brother living nearby in Plantation. She finds herself visiting with her three nieces as often as possible.
When she is not studying for the CPA exam, Katherine and her boyfriend are music lovers, and they spend time with their families. They have traveled to Peru, Cancun, and Colombia. Puerto Rico being is their next Caribbean target, and New York is also on their wish list.
Fun fact: Katherine visited Peru without a United States passport and was stuck there. It took a trip to the US Embassy to get her home!
